1. As ballooning requires almost perfect weather conditions, flights are subject
to cancellation at short notice, even at the launch site.
2. A minimum age of 16 is required for all passengers, unless accompanied
by an adult.
3. We are unable to refund the cost of the Flight Voucher under any circumstances.
The Flight Vouchers are, however, transferable providing we are notified
in writing at least 48 hours before the flight.
4. For obvious reasons, passengers should ensure that they are in good health
and if in doubt should seek the advice of their doctor. We are unable to
advise on whether you are fit enough to fly since this is a medical opinion.
Pregnant
women should not fly.
5. The Pilot, as Captain of the Aircraft can, at his discretion, refuse any
passenger on board if he/ she suspects them to have consumed alcohol or drugs
to the extent that they may put the safety of the balloon and its passengers
at risk, or if he/ she judges that the behaviour of any passenger could potentially
endanger a balloon in flight.
6. It should be noted that any passengers failing to take their confirmed
flight renders the Flight Voucher invalid unless 48 hours notice of cancellation
has
been given. In the event of the flight being cancelled by us, then your Flight
Voucher remains valid and will be re-booked for a mutually convenient date.
7. The Flight Voucher is valid for 12 months. We will extend the validity
of your Voucher for a further 12 months if you have tried to fly at least
6 times
during the initial 12 month period, and on each occasion your flight has
been cancelled by us. Cancellations by you do not count as attempts to
fly.
8. Whilst every precaution is taken for the safety of the passengers neither
the owner/ operator of the balloon nor the European Balloon Company can be
held liable for any loss, damage or injury which does not result from their
negligence.
9. Passengers wishing to take cameras and other small photographic equipment
on the flight do so entirely at their own risk.
10. The Company reserves the right to alter take-off locations at its discretion
due to operational circumstances.
