Didcot is in the south of our flying area, and we pass over the town on some of our hot air balloon flights. Didcot is a very pleasant market town situated in the Thames Valley in south Oxfordshire (Oxon), and looks beautiful from our vantage point in the basket of a hot air balloon.
Unlike many companies, we only fly small balloons so you can be sure of an exclusive VIP service. Our largest balloon carries only 12 passengers, and many of our flights take place in our 7 passenger balloon, meaning that your pilot will always be there to act as host, answer any questions or queries you may have, and ensure that your flight is an experience that will stay with you for many years to come. You can of course book our exclusive flight for two.

Didcot dates back to the Iron Age. The settlement was situated on the ridge in the town, and the remainder of the surrounding area was marshland. When Didcot first appears in historical records in the 1200s it was a sleepy little village of no more than 100 people. Parts of the original village still exist in the Lydalls Road area, and parts of Didcot's All Saints 
Church date back to the 11th century. When you pass over Didcot on our hot air balloon flights, we get the impression of the history of the town, as well as seeing the more modern development which has led to the expansion of Didcot in recent years - the railway line and the developments on the outskirts of town.
On many of our flights, whether we fly directly over the town of Didcot or not, we see Didcot Power Station - a very useful navigational aid during a hot air balloon flight!
Whichever direction our hot air balloon ride takes us, you are guaranteed a fascinating trip - over some of the country's most beautiful scenery, bustling Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire market towns, and wonderful rivers and farmland.
