Ready to fly

You and your fellow passengers climb into the basket. The pilot puts plenty of heat into the balloon and away we go! As we climb up into the sky the ground slowly falls away from beneath us. We’re flying, but there is hardly any sensation. We watch the launch field slowly drift away from us. It’s fantastic!

Meanwhile, our ground crew pack up the remaining equipment on the ground, stow it in the trailer, and head off in hot pursuit after us.
